  2. Explore, Manage and Fix ActiveX Controls, DLL & EXE Servers.

  4. COM Explorer is a unique  tool specifically designed to help developers 
  5. and system administrators to explore,  manage and fix ActiveX Controls, 
  6. EXE Servers (Out-Proc) and DLL Servers (In-Proc).  An Explorer like GUI 
  7. allows developers to browse registered COM objects and view information 
  8. such as CLSID, TypeLib,  Version information, File information and more.

  10. Misbehaved objects such  as  objects with missing files left as junk in 
  11. the registry are clearly  marked. A Registry editor is fully integrated 
  12. allowing to view and edit COM settings. COM Explorer is integrated into 
  13. Windows Explorer allowing to quickly register,  unregister, compare and
  14. view COM Controls using a pop-up menu.

  16. One of the most powerful features is report generation.   HTML or comma 
  17. delimited  text reports are  easily generated .   These reports include
  18. a list of the COM objects installed. Strong filtering and customization 
  19. capabilities are provided as well.
